Professional Information

Mark is a Senior Instructor for CRS (The Council of Residential Specialists), Ninja Selling, REBAC®(ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist®(SRES), NAR Green, and is a GRI Instructor for many states. Mark has authored a number of national courses and recently authored the CRS One Day “Going Green” course. He has served as a keynote speaker for private companies and state conventions in and out of real estate, the NAR Convention and the NAR mid-year meetings and is a practicing REALTOR® with Wilkie Real Estate, Inc., in Roanoke Rapids, N.C.



Mark has twice served as President of the Roanoke Valley Lake Gaston Board of REALTORS® and was selected as their REALTOR® of the year in 2006. He served three years as a Dean for the NC Real Estate Education Foundation (NCREEF) and was in the 2004 class of Leadership NCAR. Mark recently completed a three-year term as a member of the NCAR Finance Committee, has served on several PAGs, and currently serves on the NAR Professional Development Committee.



Before his real estate career, Mark spent 20 years as CEO of a multi-state retail sales and rental company and was a frequent trainer at regional and national conventions on sales and marketing techniques and providing exceptional customer service.

Personal Information

On many weekends, you can find Mark performing with his five children in their musical group “GivenTake.” They can occasionally be heard on oldies and beach music radio stations from Pennsylvania to Florida. Mark and Janice’s four sons are all Eagle Scouts and have served multi-year missions in South America and the U.S.
